It lives at Tumbleweed Bikes in Garden City, Idaho. It's a stunner - if Rivendell handbuilt tandem frames I imagine they would look something like this and probably cost close to the $7k+ original purchase price. You won't find another tandem frame this nice for the price, and it's decked-out. This is a stock size signature series frame, measurments: front rider ideal 6'2" - 5" rear 5"4" - 7" or close to it. Nitto cockpits and Brooks saddles. The frame is handpainted per the deluxe paint package. Construction is filet-brazing and handsome lugs with box pinstriping. Small chips and blemishes from storage, for example on the top tube. Frame pump painted to match. Details galore. Berthoud bag set (full panniers, front porteur bag, stoker mini bag, rear rack bag) Components: - Paul Mini Moto brakes front and rear, plus a Phil Wood "drag" type drum brake. - Honjo Fenders - Velocity Dyad rims laced to Phil Wood (rear) and SON front hubs. -Nitto racks -SON/Edelux upright front light -Chris King headset -Clipin pedals -Double kickstand -A second bullhorn-style handlebar is included for the stoker This was delivered new in a crate by train in 2009/10.
