A perfect fendered single speed road bike for getting around town and out into the country. I tore this bike down to the frame and rebuilt it with modern parts. It's a Wisconsin built 1984 Trek 510 frame with hand built 700c wheels set up tubeless. Smooth perfect drivetrain, fresh bar tape, new brake pads, new freewheel, flat pedals, and a good modern seat. The 510 was a "sport" road bike in Trek's line, which accommodates larger tires and features a longer wheelbase - it's comfortable, fast, and light. Wheels are silver Surly Ultra New hubs (fixed/free) laced 32h with light butted spokes to high end DT Swiss RR 411 rims Light 28mm Giant 170tpi tires, set up tubeless 42 x 17t gearing with a Campagnolo 11 speed Record chain. Low enough gearing to spin, but high enough to keep up. Can be set up fixed easily, just add a cog.
